Community guidelines
Last updated October 19, 2026
Community is where cooks compare notes on recipes they've actually made: what worked, what didn't, and what they changed. These guidelines cover Community and the comments you write to friends. You agree to them the first time you post, and they're part of using Kitchen Clipper.
What belongs here
- How a recipe really went for you, including the failures. "Too runny, I'd chill it longer" helps the next cook as much as "Perfect".
- Swaps, fixes, timings, questions, and answers to other people's questions.
- Credit for the creator. Kitchen Clipper always links back to the person who made the recipe.
What doesn't
- Unkindness. No insults, harassment, bullying, threats, or hate aimed at anyone, including the recipe's creator.
- Sexual or violent content, and anything that isn't appropriate for a general audience.
- Spam and selling. No ads, affiliate links, self-promotion, or posts that exist to sell something.
- Someone else's work. Don't paste a creator's written method, photos or headnotes. Link to the original instead.
- Unsafe advice. Nothing that could make someone sick, such as unsafe canning, undercooking, or ignoring allergies. No medical claims.
- Personal information. Don't post anyone's address, phone number, email or other private details, including your own.
- Pretending to be someone else.
Your tools
- Report any post, comment or person with the Report button. Reports are private.
- Block anyone. You won't see each other's posts or comments, they can't send you recipes, and they aren't told.
- Remove your own comments at any time, and leave any shared conversation.
What we do
Kitchen Clipper filters the worst language automatically. A person reviews every report within a day. We remove anything that breaks these guidelines, and we turn off accounts that break them on purpose or keep breaking them. There is zero tolerance for harassment, hate or sexual content. If you think we got a decision wrong, email support@kitchenclipper.com.
What we don't own
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting to Community you let Kitchen Clipper show it to other people using Kitchen Clipper. Recipes belong to their creators; Community shows the title, photo link, ingredient list and credit, and sends people to the creator's own page for the method.
See the privacy policy for what's visible to whom.
